The name Musgolia stems mainly from two personal inspirations of its author. 

First, the inspiration and love that originated when I arrived in Finland, to live in a community surrounded by forests and a lot of greenery in my surroundings, to which I am not accustomed. Then, by taking daily walks through these, with great pleasure and fascination for this activity, I developed an immediate taste for Finnish nature, but more specifically for the wooded corners and creatures that inhabit it. And since, the forests are full of moss, which in Spanish translates as “musgo”, inspired me to create a space to share stories and experiences under the name Musgolia, which translates to “Mossland.” 

Second, an even more personal source of inspiration, since my father as an agricultural engineer, has deep knowledge about plants and nature, sparked a family joke when he curiously asked my Finnish partner about Finnish moss during their first visit to Mexico. Naturally, for him it was a very unexpected and funny question. This humorous exchange became a beloved family anecdote, adding a layer of warmth and meaning to the name Musgolia. 

In essence, Musgolia reminds us that inspiration can proceed from even the most unexpected conversations, sparking creativity in surprising ways.
